Story in a Painting : "Winter" by Diana Dimova - TRAXI

Today I am starting an exciting column - "Story in a Painting", where I will tell you about the inspiration behind various works. We start with my painting "Winter", which captures two sides of this magical season.

The cold and majestic nature - snow-capped peaks, a frozen lake and frozen sparrows huddled on a branch. All this reminds of the harsh beauty of winter.

The warmth and coziness of home - far in the landscape, the windows of small snowy huts shine, and balls of smoke rise from the chimneys - a symbol of the festive mood and family warmth.

In 2022, the painting won a Gold Award in the International Art Competition “Winter” at Black Purple Gallery
