About the work

"Harbor of Love" is a romantic abstract seascape about transformation, hope, and the emotional power of love.

This painting was inspired by a reflection on environmental destruction and beauty at the same time. The artist was moved by satellite images of oil spills — tragic for marine life, yet visually striking in color and form. What began as a negative emotional response transformed during the creative process into a message of hope and love.

Two young lovers walking hand in hand along the harbor symbolize human connection, resilience, and emotional redemption. The dark tones of silver, black, and deep blue represent the ocean’s wounds, while light reflections and soft atmospheric transitions introduce hope and emotional warmth.

The artwork delivers a powerful message: Love is stronger than hate. Love is stronger than death.
