WALKING ON THE HARBOR

I painted this Abstract painting after a close friend told me "Have you seen an oil spill?" How can something so HORRIBLE look BEAUTIFUL?''

I looked at some satellite photos and yes, it is really BEAUTIFUL, and yes, it is really TERRIBLE - tens of thousands of fish, birds, marine animals die from oil spills.

It is TERRIBLE that we collect our garbage separately, and the Big Transport Companies dump theirs in Our OCEAN!

When I started the painting, I was negative, but with a transformation and the material on the canvas, LOVE appeared!

A couple of young lovers, holding hands, were walking on the Port!

And I actually felt HOPE!

LOVE IS STRONGER THAN HATE!

LOVE IS STRONGER THAN DEATH!

LOVE is present in my paintings!
